How do I connect WhatsApp to Nibbs?
Tap "Connect WhatsApp" in the app, then scan the QR code with your phone's WhatsApp by going to Settings → Linked Devices → Link a Device. The app will automatically detect when the connection is successful.
Is my child's data secure?
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for complete details.
What happens when AI moderation is enabled?
When AI moderation is enabled, your child's messages are sent to our AI partners for analysis to detect inappropriate content, cyberbullying, and safety threats. Messages are only processed temporarily and are not stored unless flagged as concerning.
How do caution words work?
You can add custom words or phrases that you want to monitor in your child's messages. When these words are detected, you'll receive an immediate alert. You can add, remove, and manage caution words anytime in the app settings.
Will my child know they're being monitored?
Nibbs operates through WhatsApp Web connections. Laws in many jurisdictions require informing individuals about monitoring. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable laws, including any requirements to inform your child about monitoring. We strongly recommend open communication with your child about online safety.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, email support@nibbs.ai with your deletion request. We will process deletion requests within 30 days as required by law. Some data may be retained as necessary for legal compliance or legitimate business purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Is Nibbs legal to use?
Nibbs is designed for parents to monitor their minor children. Laws regarding monitoring vary significantly by jurisdiction. It is YOUR responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws.
